One of Many

One of Many is a project for which I traveled to twelve “secondary” American cities to document and highlight their creative communities in portraits and writing.

The goal of this project was to showcase how many vibrant, diverse, and talented creatives work outside of the perceived centers of culture like NYC, SF, and LA.

Cheryl Day (born 1961) is a baker and author, who is owner of Back in the Day Bakery in Savannah, Georgia, and co-founder of Southern Restaurants for Racial Justice. She is the author of two best-selling cookbooks, written with her husband Griff Day.
